Welding

manual and robotic

Welding is a fundamental process for the permanent union of metal pieces,
which allows the creation of solid and resistant structures.
There are two main welding methods: manual and robotic.

How it works

Manual welding

Manual welding is a traditional process that requires the skill and experience of an expert welder. The welder uses a special device, called “welding generator”, to melt the filler metal, a material similar to the parts to be joined, creating a solid joint.

Robotic welding

Robotic welding uses an industrial robot programmed to perform the welding process with high precision and repeatability. The robot manages the welder and the filler metal, ensuring uniform hi-quality joints.

Advantages of manual welding

FLEXIBILITY

Suitable for parts with complex shapes and difficult to access by robots.

REPAIRS

Ideal for repair and maintenance work on existing structures.

LOWER COST

No investment in expensive robotic equipment.

Advantages of robotic welding

PRECISION

Ensures precise and uniform weld joints, minimizing defects.

PRODUCTIVITY

Increases speed and production capacity, especially for mass production.

SAFETY

Eliminates risks associated with manual labor, such as exposure to fumes and heat.

REPEATABILITY

Guarantees consistent and reliable results in every production cycle.

Welding applications

Welding is used in many industrial sectors
for the construction of metal products, including:

Mechanical processing for the Naval sector

Hulls, decks, pipes.

Building Industry

Load-bearing structures, bridges, industrial buildings.

Railway

Tracks, wagons, locomotives.

Furniture

Metal furniture, shelving, furnishing accessories.

Automotive

Frames, car bodies, engine components.

Household Appliances

Washing machines, refrigerators, air conditioners.

Industrial machinery

Frames, mechanical components, metal structures.
