Thermoforming

give shape to your ideas through heat

Thermoforming is a molding technique that uses heat and pressure to deform sheets or
plates of plastic material, creating three-dimensional objects of different shapes and sizes.

How it works

Heating

The plastic material is heated until it reaches a plasticity temperature, or the temperature at which the material becomes soft and malleable.

Molding

The heated plastic material is placed in a mold with the desired shape and subjected to pressure.

Cooling

The plastic material is cooled inside the mold, assuming the desired three-dimensional shape.

Advantages of thermoforming

VERSATILITY

Thermoforming can be used to create a wide variety of products, from small items to large components.

LOW COST

Compared to other molding techniques, thermoforming is a relatively economical process, especially for mass production.

SPEED

The thermoforming process is fast and efficient, allowing large quantities of products to be obtained in a short time.

RESISTANCE

Thermoformed products are resistant and long-lasting,
suitable for different applications.

CUSTOMIZATION OPTIONS

Molds can be customized to create products with unique shapes and designs.
