Laser cutting is a precise and versatile method for cutting tubes of various materials, including steel, aluminum, copper and brass. A high-intensity laser beam is focused on the tube, creating an intense heat zone that melts the material and allows the tube to be cut to the desired shape.
This phase consists of deforming the tube according to the desired angle and radius to obtain the final shape of the component. There are various bending techniques, including:
- Mandrel bending: a mandrel is inserted inside the tube to support it during deformation.
- Roll bending: the tube is bent by wrapping it around rollers of different diameters.
- Compression bending: the tube is compressed between two molds to obtain the desired curvature.
