Cold sheet metal stamping

precision and strength for complex shapes

Cold sheet metal forming is a manufacturing technique that uses mechanical or hydraulic
presses to deform pre-cut sheets of metal at room temperature, creating three-dimensional
components of high precision and resistance.

How it works

Sheet metal cutting

The metal sheet is cut into the desired shape by punching or laser cutting

Sheet metal positioning

The metal sheet is positioned in the lower mold of the press.

Punch descent

The punch, fixed to the upper press, descends and deforms the sheet metal against the lower die, giving it the desired shape.

Piece extraction

The molded piece is extracted from the mold and ready for use or for further processing.

Advantages of cold sheet metal forming

HIGH PRECISION

The forming process allows to obtain components with complex and detailed geometries with high dimensional precision.

HIGH RESISTANCE

Cold-formed components are resistant and durable, suitable for withstanding high loads

UNIFORM SURFACE FINISH

Printed products have a smooth and uniform surface finish that can be customized with different textures or treatments.

MASS PRODUCTION

Cold stamping is an ideal process for mass production of identical components,
ensuring high repeatability and competitive costs.

POSSIBILITY OF USING DIFFERENT MATERIALS

Cold forming can be used with a wide range of metal materials, including steel, aluminum, copper, and brass.

Cold sheet metal forming applications

Cold sheet metal forming is used in various industrial sectors
for the production of a wide range of components, including:

Electronics

Cases for computers, cell phones, televisions and other electronic devices.

Building Industry

Metal profiles, roofing panels, fixtures and structural components.

Aerospace Industry

Aircraft structural components, engines, and exterior skins.

Office furniture and metal furnishings

Chairs, tables, shelving and furnishing accessories.

Automotive

Frames, car bodies, panels, engine components and other structural elements.

Household Appliances

Washing machines, refrigerators, dishwashers, air conditioners and other components.

Railway

Bogies, wagons, locomotives and structural components.
